Chatham Hill Mosque
Client: Chatham Hill Mosque & Kent Islamic Centre
A community website for a mosque and Islamic centre that needed reliable prayer times, event listings, donation handling, and announcements — maintainable by non-technical staff, without a fragile custom build to look after.

The Brief
A community website for a mosque and Islamic centre that needed reliable prayer times, event listings, donation handling, and announcements — maintainable by non-technical staff, without a fragile custom build to look after.
What I Delivered
Rather than hand-rolling a bespoke stack the committee couldn't maintain, I built on MasjidBox — the platform purpose-built for mosque sites — and customized it: tailored the design to the centre's identity, configured prayer-time and event integrations, set up donation and announcement flows, and structured the content so staff can update it themselves. The right-tool-for-the-job choice, delivered fast.
The Outcome
A live, self-maintainable community site the mosque staff run day-to-day. Fully handed over with zero ongoing maintenance required from developers.
